The Client
An HRMS Platform Built for Growing Businesses
factoHR is AI-powered HRMS and payroll software for growing businesses in India, bringing core HR, payroll and compliance, time and attendance, recruitment, and performance management into one platform.
Despite strong domain authority, the vast majority of its rankings sat beyond page 1, where they drove little traffic.
factoHR came to us in January 2023 to grow organic visibility for its core product pages.

The Challenge
Trusted Domain, Buried Rankings
The domain had earned trust. The rankings had not yet followed.
A Large Footprint Mostly Out of Sight
factoHR ranked for thousands of searches, but very few of those rankings sat where HR buyers actually look.
A Purchase Buyers Compare First
HR software is rarely bought on a first visit. Buyers compare several vendors across HR, payroll, and attendance before they shortlist one.
Half the Footprint Buried Deep
More than half of the site’s ranking positions sat beyond position 50, where they drove little traffic.
A Thin Top of the Rankings
Only 274 positions, under 2% of the footprint, sat in the top 3, where clicks concentrate.
Page 2 Just Out of Reach
1,633 positions sat on page 2, one step from the results most searchers actually see.
Our Approach
Building Authority Around the Pages Buyers Evaluate
We ran a 19-month link building campaign that started from factoHR’s product pages and worked outward to publishers.
Revenue-Page Targeting
We directed links to product, feature, and pricing pages, the pages where HR buyers evaluate software, rather than spreading equity across the whole site.
Gap-Led Prospecting
We mapped keyword and competitor link gaps to find the publications that linked to competing HR software vendors but not to factoHR.
Vetted Publishers
We vetted every publication on authority, traffic, relevance, and editorial standards, and excluded thin-content sites and inflated metrics.
Editorial Outreach and Content
We pitched each editor individually, wrote product-aware articles for the publication, and reviewed every piece internally before submission, placing each link in the body of the article.
The Results
Nineteen Months of Organic Growth and Rising Authority
Verified across the full campaign window, 1 January 2023 to 31 July 2024.
Organic Traffic
factoHR’s organic traffic opened the campaign at 16,721 monthly visits and closed at 104,256, an increase of 524%, more than six times where it started.
Growth came in two stages. Traffic climbed quickly through the first quarter of 2023, then held a plateau through most of the year. It climbed again from late 2023, took a short pullback in early summer 2024, and finished the campaign at the highest point in the window.
Domain Rating rose from 67 to 71, positions ranking in the top 3 rose from 274 to 1,811, and page 1 positions rose from 1,010 to 8,295.
